These partners provide solutions and services that touch all aspects of the business buying cycle - from process design, sourcing, orchestration, search, procure, pay and post-pay reconciliations.
We engage with technology partners, solution integrators, consulting companies, business process outsourcers, group purchasing organizations, fintech companies and many more types of partners. This reflects and matches the needs of our customers that operate in different geographies, are of different sizes, have a myriad of operating and purchasing models, have varied compliance needs, have socially responsible purchasing goals and are part of a variety of verticals. The needs are complex, but with a rich set of partners, we are meeting the unique needs of our customers. At Amazon Business Reshape 2024, we are hosting over 150 of our partners, along with our customers to hear from them both, as we build and announce new capabilities to serve our customers.
Today at Amazon Business Reshape, we have several announcements and updates about our collaboration with several of our partners. Our announcements are organized around our three partner program types: Technology Partners, Channel Partners and Socially Responsible Purchasing Partners. These programs are designed to collaborate with partners to realize business impact from our joint innovations to ultimately deliver customer satisfaction.
In our technology partner program we have the following deeper engagements with existing partners and major announcements of new partners:
Amazon Business joins Coupa Advantage, a discount program available to all Coupa customers, on November 1st. With Amazon Business participating, we will be offering our mutual US-based customers a unique value proposition, including special discounts on thousands of selected products and 50% off on first 12-months of Business Prime plans to customers in the US, Canada and EU. Customers will gain access via integrations like Punchout, and Integrated Search. We're excited to continue helping customers finetune their buying experiences and streamline their business buying goals.
With Amazon Business’ Punch-in integration, customers can start their buying journey on the Amazon Business website and punch into their SAP Ariba e-procurement system. This is slated to be available in General Availability in the United States by June 2025. This is exciting as SAP is one of just a few partners to integrate with this Amazon Business Punch in capability. Stay tuned for details.
Amazon Business and IRIS launched a strategic collaboration to help simplify school purchasing. The Amazon Business Punchout integration enables more than 5,000 UK schools to purchase supplies directly from Amazon Business through their IRIS Financials system, cutting out a number of time-consuming manual steps. Purchasing teams benefit from a familiar Amazon checkout process, prefilled purchase order lines, automatic generation of purchase orders and approvals, and purchase reconciliation. IRIS is focused on developing software solutions that consolidate data across multiple systems, automate processes and alleviate the unnecessary time-drain educational staff currently face. With 30 years' experience in education management solutions and a presence in 90 countries, IRIS has the broadest education software suite in the UK, with 75% of Multi Academy Trusts and 12,000 UK schools and academies — including half of the schools in England — now using its solutions. Amazon Business and Melio launched a strategic collaboration that enables users in the United States to pay their Amazon Business invoices and other bills with a few simple clicks through Melio using their preferred payment method. Melio is a leading payments system that enables small and medium-sized businesses to quickly and seamlessly transfer and receive payments, helping them optimize their cash flow and minimize admin work. The integration with Amazon Business will enable small business owners to devote more time to running their businesses and less time to manage paying their suppliers and contractors. At Oracle SuiteWorld, NetSuite introduced a new product, SuiteProcurement. Along with that announcement, Amazon Business has integrated its Punchout feature to enable NetSuite customers to buy products in the familiar Amazon experience and integrate their shopping cart into NetSuite for seamless procurement approval workflows. Additionally, Amazon Business is providing SuiteProcurement to eligible NetSuite customers for a 12-month, no-cost Amazon Business Prime Medium membership (valued at US$1,299) that provides business-only pricing and savings, and a 50% discount on membership renewals in subsequent years. Amazon Business and Jabil, a global manufacturing and supply chain services provider, have embarked on a strategic alliance between Jabil Procurement and Supply Chain Services and Amazon Business to formulate procurement solutions and services to customers worldwide. We are thrilled to partner with Jabil, a leader in global manufacturing and supply chain management. In the near future, this partnership intends to combine Jabil’s procurement expertise with our own, enabling customers to accelerate their complex procurement transformation and achieve new levels of efficiency and savings.
Praas is a new entrant into print-as-a-service offerings. Praas Open Ink is a new and free solution, powered by Amazon Business, that automates the ordering of printer toner/ink consumables across any device brand – to reduce the administration workload, reduce waste, and enable smarter cost control. Open Ink will monitor printers across your printing infrastructure and only when needed to create automated just-in-time delivery orders for replenishing your printing consumables through your Amazon Business account.
